About Us

Blake Clough Consulting is a specialist energy consultancy with a focus on the electricity networks.  We cover a range of areas relating to feasibility studies, project engineering, innovation, regulation and technical strategy, with a strong emphasis on our customer relationships.

We are passionate about the decarbonisation of the energy system and the transition to “Net Zero” and aim to support our clients to accelerate this change as effectively as possible, whether that be local authorities, large network companies, private developers etc.  Our clients range from electricity network operators, regulators and public sector organisations through to private developers, both onshore and offshore, looking to develop projects connecting into the electricity networks.

Our offices are based in Slaithwaite, Glasgow, London and we have a virtual office in Dubai.

Tasks:

• General admin and office tasks
• Raising invoices and chasing payments
• Formatting documents in MS Word, such as CVs and proposals to clients
• Assisting with gathering and developing marketing materials/ content
• Answering inquiries and diverting them to the most suitable person 
• Making bookings and purchases

Essential skills – efficient in Excel and word formatting/ report writing

It is a very exciting time for Blake Clough Consulting as our company is growing rapidly. This means the tasks for our operations team have increased substantially and we are looking for an apprentice to join us and help with administrative tasks and operations. In return you will have the opportunity to join a great company who believes its people are its biggest asset and at the heart of everything we do.  There are opportunities to progress and develop in a variety of areas.

Qualifications

• 3 A levels A-C

Training will take place with National Business College and you will attend sessions once every fortnight.
